Job summary

Eataly Toronto is seeking a Server to coordinate the service station and work closely with front-of-house and back-of-house teams to deliver an exceptional dining experience. You will greet guests, present menus, explain specials, and relay orders to the kitchen and bar staff using a POS system.

duties include coordinating with hosts and bartenders, serving wine and beer, stocking stations, and assisting with cash register operations. Availability for evenings, weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required to interact with guests and team members.
• Knowledge of the sequence of service and dining room procedures.
• Basic math skills for handling bills and POS transactions.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests and presents them with the menu
• Informs guests of specials, menu changes, and allergies
• Receives food and beverage orders from guests and relays to kitchen staff and bartender using a POS system
• Coordinates with hosts, table support team, kitchen staff and bartenders to ensure smooth service
• Presents, opens and pours wine and beer when serving guests
• Assists table support team with stocking work stations and clearing used dishes
• Assists with cash register at counter-service restaurants
• Performs other duties as required or assigned
