Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for day -to- day operation of the Articulated Arm/Laser Tracker (PCMM) to ensure the best quality product is delivered to a customer in a timely manner .

Terms:

Permanent, full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Create programs/sequences to effectively measure different products
• Ensure the product passes certification test or process inspection
• Prepare reports to describe studies and prepare documents and layouts
• Keep the equipment and the workstation clean at all times for most accurate results
• Perform project work, while adhering to deadlines, as required
• Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience operating Milling machine, Surface grinder, Drill press, Hand tools and Precision instruments
• Ability to read a blueprint and GD&T interpretations
• Ability to use MS Word & Excel computer applications
• Strong organizational and workload planning skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Previous experience operating a CMM/Portable measuring equipment is preferred
• Ability/willing to travel out of the country for work requirements
• A valid passport and driver’s license is a must
• Flexible schedule, ability to work over the weekends is a must
• Knowledge/experience in Polyworks, Nikon Metrology, CAMIO Software is a definite asset
