Summary:

The incumbent will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Articulated Arm/Laser Tracker (PCMM) to ensure the delivery of high-quality products to customers in a timely manner.

Terms:

Permanent, full-time position.

Responsibilities:

• Create programs and sequences to effectively measure different products.
• Ensure products pass certification tests or process inspections.
• Prepare reports describing studies and create documents and layouts.
• Maintain equipment and workstations in a clean state for accurate results.
• Perform project work while adhering to deadlines.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Experience operating milling machines, surface grinders, drill presses, hand tools, and precision instruments.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T.
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational and workload planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Previous experience operating CMM or portable measuring equipment is preferred.
• Willingness and ability to travel internationally for work.
• Valid passport and driver's license are required.
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work over weekends.
• Knowledge or experience in Polyworks, Nikon Metrology, or CAMIO Software is a definite asset.
