Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Articling Student to join our team. This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop skills in litigation and employment law, supporting our lawyers across a range of legal matters while gaining direct exposure to real-world legal practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist lawyers with managing case files, conducting legal research, and reviewing documents.
  • Handle, with supervision, small claims court matters, including drafting pleadings and attending hearings.
  • Assist with court filings, preparing legal correspondence, and completing legal administrative tasks.
  • Shadow lawyers during examinations for discovery and mediation sessions.
  • Prepare affidavits of documents, facta, and assist in drafting motion materials.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support ongoing cases and client advisories.
  • Provide general support in legal administration to ensure efficiency and accuracy in case preparation.
