Job summary

MNP, on Vancouver Island, is seeking an Articling Accountant for Fall 2027 in the Assurance & Accounting group. You will work on compilations, reviews, audits, and tax while learning IFRS/GAAP/ASPE and building client relationships.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a commerce or business administration degree with CPA prerequisites, have customer service experience, and are willing to travel as needed. This on-site role offers a starting salary and a clear professional path.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in commerce or business administration (accounting/finance major preferred).
• Prerequisites for CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) upon employment start.
• Previous accounting or client service experience is an asset.
• Experience with accounting and tax software is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Develop technical skills in compilations, reviews, audits, bookkeeping and tax.
• Apply knowledge of IFRS/GAAP/ASPE.
• Set up files for new clients and manage multiple files.
• Perform AR/AP, asset acquisitions, payroll walkthrough with clients.
• Summarize financial status with balance sheets and P&L.
