Who we are looking for:

We’re looking for a visionary Art Director with a strong background in eCommerce to lead and elevate our brand’s creative expression across digital channels. You’ll drive visual consistency and storytelling, working cross-functionally to shape customer experiences that are as beautiful as they are effective.

Key Responsibilities:

Brand Guidelines

  1. Own and evolve the brand book, ensuring clear, engaging, and accessible guidelines with practical examples for consistent application across all touchpoints.
  2. Guide internal teams and external partners on proper brand guideline application to ensure consistent execution.
  3. Regularly audit brand touchpoints and update guidelines based on new channels, campaigns, or business objectives.
  4. Review and approve creative work to maintain visual and tonal consistency.

Visual Content & Storytelling

  1. Collaborate with the email marketing team to conceptualize and design visually compelling email flows & campaigns that drive engagement.
  2. Collaborate with the content team to elevate creatives and visual storytelling across channels.
  3. Partner with the web team to create thoughtful UI/UX mockups that align with brand identity and enhance user experience.

Creative Process Optimization

  1. Work closely with the creative team to streamline and improve internal processes for greater efficiency and quality output.
  2. Implement and manage a Digital Asset Management (DAM) system for improved organization and accessibility.

Experience & Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience in art direction, brand design, or a related creative leadership role.
  2. Strong portfolio showcasing brand systems, visual storytelling, and performance-driven design across digital touchpoints—including email, web, and social.
  3. Proven experience designing and optimizing email campaigns and flows that drive engagement and align with brand aesthetics.
  4. Familiarity with email marketing platforms Klaviyo and an understanding of email design best practices (responsive design, accessibility, dark mode, etc.).
  5. Solid understanding of digital marketing, UI/UX principles, and content strategy.
  6. Experience working cross-functionally with email, content, and marketing teams.
  7. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma; bonus points for motion.
  8. Experience with DAM systems and optimizing creative workflows is a plus.
  9. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate creative ideas into actionable direction.
  10. Detail-oriented, brand-obsessed, and performance-minded.
  11. Comfortable giving and receiving feedback in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
