Our Canadian office, Loomis International (CA) Inc., located in Mississauga near Pearson Airport, is seeking qualified individuals to ensure the safe custody and transportation of high-value items between various secure locations.

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, Road Crew Members serve as the primary contact with clients, with experience in roles such as messenger, guard, or driver being advantageous.

Responsibilities

1. Make decisions following Loomis International (CA) Standard Operating Procedures and Use of Force policies.
2. Read and write proficiently in English; bilingualism is a strong asset.
3. Maintain professionalism in an armed, uniformed capacity.
4. Interact effectively with co-workers, clients, and the public.
5. Conduct daily vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with transportation regulations.
6. Operate commercial vehicles safely in accordance with the Highway Traffic Act.
7. Pay close attention to detail when counting items, recording serial numbers, and managing documentation.
8. Keep accurate shipment and collection manifests and ensure operational communication devices and security equipment are functional.
9. Maintain situational awareness to minimize risks and adhere to time constraints despite potential delays.
10. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

1. Minimum 21 years of age.
2. At least 3 years of a clean driving record.
3. Ability to lift objects weighing 50-75 pounds.
4. Ability to obtain a Driver's Abstract.
5. Valid Canadian Firearms License (Possession and Acquisition License) with both Restricted and Non-Restricted categories.
6. Ability to fulfill requirements to obtain and maintain an Authorization to Carry Permit for Restricted and Prohibited Firearms from the Ontario Chief Firearms Office.
