As an ARMO Technician - Equip I, you will perform mechanical assembly, maintenance, and overhaul activities on equipment under limited supervision. You will work in accordance with predefined procedures, established work practices, and quality standards to help ensure equipment is maintained safely and effectively.

You will conduct all activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance requirements, and Baker Hughes Core Values while contributing to a safe, reliable, and quality-focused working environment.

Fueling Your Passion

As an ARMO Technician - Equip I, you will use your mechanical aptitude, technical knowledge, and hands-on skills to support equipment assembly, maintenance, and overhaul activities.

You will follow established procedures, interpret maintenance documentation and drawings, use appropriate hand and measurement tools, and apply basic technical and mathematical skills to complete assigned work safely and accurately.

As an ARMO Technician - Equip I, you will be responsible for:

• Performing mechanical assembly, maintenance, and overhaul activities on equipment under limited supervision.
• Completing assigned work in accordance with predefined procedures, established work practices, and applicable quality standards.
• Using common hand tools to perform mechanical assembly and maintenance activities.
• Reading and interpreting maintenance documents, technical drawings, parts lists, and other applicable work instructions.
• Following formal procedures and established processes when performing assigned tasks.
• Using measurement and gauging equipment and associated processes to support mechanical work.
• Performing basic mathematical calculations as required for assigned activities.
• Applying basic computer skills to support day-to-day work requirements.
• Using appropriate heavy-duty tools when required to complete assigned work.
• Maintaining good written and verbal communication while working with others.
• Conducting all activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal compliance requirements, and Core Values.
• Demonstrating reliability and punctuality in supporting daily operational requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Have good mechanical aptitude and the ability to perform hands-on mechanical work.
• Have the ability to use common hand tools effectively.
• Have the ability to read and interpret maintenance documents, drawings, parts lists, and follow formal procedures.
• Have basic skills in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes.
• Have the ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Have good computer skills.
• Have a general knowledge of transportation procedures and practices.
• Be dependable and demonstrate consistent punctuality.

Desired Characteristics

• Be mechanically inclined with an aptitude for working with mechanical equipment.
• Be familiar with heavy-duty tools and their appropriate use.
• Have previous transportation-related experience.
• Have relevant experience within airline, military, oilfield, automotive, or similar mechanical environments.
