Job summary

Brink's Canada is hiring Guards, Drivers and Messengers to provide secure, professional service across Canada. You will operate armored vehicles, perform safe deliveries to clients on assigned routes, and contribute to a safe environment through strict safety and security practices.

Rigorous training is provided; we offer flexible part-time schedules including days, evenings and weekends, with opportunities to grow in security, customer service, and team responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Must carry a firearm in performance of duties; PAL required for restricted and non-restricted firearms.
• Valid driver’s licence with clean driving record; licence requirements vary by province.
• Provincial security guard licence where applicable (BC, QC, NB, NS, PEI).

Responsibilities

• Perform safe and efficient deliveries to clients by following assigned routes.
• Operate an armored vehicle in a safe manner.
• Use safety and security orientation to ensure a safe environment for yourself, clients and colleagues.
• Load, unload and perform repairs to ATMs for financial institution clients.
• Complete daily route records.

As a member of our operations team, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform safe and efficient deliveries to clients by following your assigned routes
• Operate an armoured vehicle in a safe manner
• Use your safety and security orientation to ensure a safe environment for yourself, clients and colleagues
• Load, unload and perform repairs to ATM's for our Financial Institution clients
• Complete daily route records

New to the industry? That's ok! We offer rigorous training to ensure you are comfortable in the performance of all of your duties, including extensive driver training.

• All of our Guards, Drivers and Messengers are required to carry a firearm in the performance of their duties, a PAL for restricted and non-restricted firearms is required.
• A valid driver's licence and a clean driving record - see the licence requirement for your province below
• In British Columbia, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI - a provincial security guard licence
• Capable of pushing, pulling and lifting loads of up to 35lbs
• Available for various shifts at least two days per week - days, evenings, nights and weekends are available
