Area Supply Attendant Stores

Warehouse Operations

What you'll do

• Ensure established quotas of medical, surgical, and other supplies are maintained by receiving inventory orders, picking goods, and delivering items as scheduled. Maintain records of supplies delivered and forward to supervisor for data entry.
• Monitor supply usage, modify quotas and requisitions based on utilization, and organize shelves with input from user departments and the CMMS.
• Answer supply and product availability questions, set up new areas with top-up quotas, and maintain organization and safety of work areas and stock.
• Assist in product evaluation by managing stock levels during trials, and process incoming and outgoing materials, including returns and vendor shipments.
• Prepare weekly gas cylinder orders, and perform scheduled pick-up and delivery tasks.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What you bring

Qualifications

• Grade 12, plus one year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Knowledge of Indigenous Peoples' impacts in social and health contexts, and a commitment to Indigenous Cultural Safety and Humility.
• Understanding of systemic racism, Indigenous mandates, and legislative obligations related to Indigenous health and rights.

Core Competencies and Skills

• Understanding of Indigenous-specific and systemic racism, and initiatives to promote safety and belonging.
• Ability to organize work, communicate effectively, operate equipment, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing learning about anti-racism and Indigenous issues.
