PERSOLKELLY Indonesia is currently assisting one of our clients in Japanese Retail (Shoes) company in finding great talent as a Assistant Wholesale Manager with the requirement as follows :

Working location : Jakarta

Job Responsibility :

The Assistant Wholesale Manager will oversee and grow the brand’s wholesale business throughout Indonesia. Key responsibilities include :

Supervising store managers and ensuring consistent operational standards.

Monitoring sales performance and identifying growth opportunities.

Executing store-level marketing initiatives that align with brand strategy.

Acting as the primary link between retail operations and headquarters to guarantee seamless cross-functional coordination.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical abilities with proven people-management skills, is highly attuned to retail trends and customer experience, and thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment.

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in wholesale or retail operations , preferably in the fashion, footwear, or lifestyle industry
• Strong knowledge of store-level operations, sales analysis, and budget planning
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop retail teams
• Strong presentation and reporting skills ; able to report to both local and regional stakeholders
• Mobile and willing to travel frequently across Indonesia for store visits and audits
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia ; proficiency in English is required (reporting to regional team in Singapore)
• Familiarity with retail ERP systems, Microsoft Excel, and data analytics tools is a plus
