Job Description:

1. Proficient in developing creative and functional design plans, layouts, elevations, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD.
2. Good working knowledge of SketchUp.
3. Ability to create working drawing sets in accordance with FS standards.
4. Manage multiple projects from the design stage through to the restaurant opening.
5. Obtain necessary permits and variances for construction projects.
6. Calculate and prepare required information for shop drawings and bill of materials.
7. Supervise projects during construction, maintaining ongoing communication with the project manager and providing guidance and clarification.
8. Excellent communication and time management skills are essential.

Requirements:

1. 3+ years of experience in architectural design and project supervision.
2. Ability to independently interpret and apply National and Regional Building Codes, including performing comprehensive code analysis.
3. Report directly to senior management on multiple projects.
4. Supervise the permitting process, including making necessary revisions until permits are issued.
5. Provide ongoing guidance to clients throughout construction, with weekly follow-ups and updates, until the store is ready for opening.
6. Must live within 20 km of the office or be willing to relocate (this is not a remote job position).
