We are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Technologist with extensive experience in architectural design, technical drafting, and project coordination. The ideal candidate will play a key role in translating architectural concepts into detailed technical drawings, ensuring compliance with building codes, and supporting construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of shop drawings, fabrication drawings, installation drawings from architectural and structural drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Develop architectural shop drawings and fabrication drawings with the coordination and management of technical project requirements.
• Coordinate with Architectural consultants to produce working drawings to meet project schedule and timelines.
• Prepares lot specific grading plans for permits and construction.
• Coordinates truss, floor, mechanical, and structural engineering drawings.
• Conducts periodic site reviews for conformity to plans.
• Resolving any outstanding issues that arise during fabrication, assembly, and installation process.
• Reviewing architectural, structural, mechanical drawings and IFC drawings of external architectural consultants for supplementing shop drawings.
• Working closely with the Project Manager in coordinating drawings in compliance with specifications and scope of work.
• Stays up to date on building techniques, building code, and regulations to ensure compliance, and advance building performance.

Qualifications & Skills

• A minimum of Diploma or a Degree in Architectural Technology or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in architectural drafting and design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other design software.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, construction methods, and materials.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience working in commercial / industrial projects and familiarity with lean manufacturing processes will be considered a strong asset.
