Role description:

This role will expose you to working drawings ranging from mixed use, commercial, and residential high-rise buildings. You will be a part of the team that will support with design development, working drawings, and detailing. The successful candidate will offer a robust portfolio of details and construction documents showing an array of projects and a holistic understanding of the design process. As the successful candidate, you will be an out-of-the-box thinker with a talent for developing creative detailing solutions. The successful candidate can work hybrid or a work-from-home office environment but must be located within one hour from Kelowna.

Role accountabilities:
  • Prepare working drawings on a number of different projects using Revit.
  • Prepare documentation - design development, building permits, and tender packages.
  • Coordinate the architectural and engineering disciplines along with external consultants to produce high quality and well-coordinated documents for construction.
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Diploma in Architectural Technology.
  • Up to 3 years of experience in an architectural firm.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills.
  • MUST be a proficient user of Revit and Microsoft Office software knowledge and experience.
  • Experience with project coordination and possess a strong ability to meet tight project deadlines.
  • Must submit a portfolio of work in PDF which is under 10MB or a web link to your portfolio site.

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - 65,000. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role.
