Job summary

ARDEX Canada, part of ARDEX Americas, is seeking a Commercial Architectural Sales Representative to support Vancouver and Alberta, with a preferred home base in Vancouver, BC. In this role you’ll engage architects, designers and contractors to secure product specifications and coordinate with internal teams for project delivery.

You will travel daily within the territory, with occasional overnight stays, and may travel to the United States.

Qualifications

  • College degree preferred, or high school diploma with relevant experience
  • Ability to travel regularly within the territory, including occasional overnight travel
  • Legally permitted to work in Canada
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel occasionally to the United States
  • Experience with flooring or tile installation systems

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with architects, designers, engineers, and consultants
  • Deliver product presentations, CEUs, and lunch & learns to drive specification opportunities
  • Secure specifications across healthcare, hospitality, commercial, and retail
  • Represent ARDEX at industry events and tradeshows to build brand presence
  • Partner with contractors, subcontractors, and installers to ensure product acceptance
  • Provide technical guidance, job start support, and on-site assistance as needed
  • Support quoting and bidding with clear, accurate communication
  • Collaborate closely with Technical Services, Sales, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Track and manage project activity using A4C and other tools
  • Oversee projects from design through installation, maintaining accurate and current records
  • Identify and mitigate risks that could impact specification retention
  • Maintain strong follow-up to keep projects moving forward
  • Participate in internal project reviews to align priorities and timelines
  • Identify new opportunities and expand market presence within the territory
  • Monitor competitor activity and share market insights
  • Provide customer feedback to support product positioning and innovation
  • Support GPS and architectural initiatives as appropriate
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Architectural, Technical, Marketing, and other internal teams
  • Provide consistent updates and reports to leadership
  • Participate in ARDEX training and development programs

We are immediately hiring a Commercial Architectural SalesRepresentative to support Vancouver andAlberta, with a preferred home base in Vancouver, BC.

In this role, you’ll work with architects, designers and contractorsto secure specifications of ARDEX products, and partnering withinternal teams to ensure successful project delivery.

This is a field-based position requiring daily territory travel withoccasional overnight stays. Applicants must be legally permitted towork in Canada, and able to undertake occasional travel to the United States.

What You Will Do
Build Relationships & Influence Specifications
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with architects,designers, engineers, and consultants

Experience and Skills:
What You Will Bring to ARDEX
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, construction, orarchitectural specification
  • Experience with flooring or tile installation systems
  • Strong presentation, relationship-building, and communication skills
  • Technical aptitude and comfort supporting products in both officeand field environments
  • Solid understanding of construction processes and architectural specifications
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up and time management skills
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM/project tracking tools

Requirements
  • College degree preferred, or high school diploma with relevant experience
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs (with carrying up to 55 lbs)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel regularly within the territory, includingoccasional overnight travel
  • Ability to travel occasionally to the United States
  • Legally permitted to work in Canada
