Job summary

Qualifications

Architectural Designer

Responsibilities:

  • Design architectural plans for ICI, multi-residential, and manufacturing projects (new builds, renovations, additions).
  • Produce site plans, floor plans, elevations, and renderings using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to meet design, budget, and timeline goals.
  • Handle zoning, site plan approvals, permits, and municipal submissions.
  • Present proposals and adapt designs based on feedback from stakeholders.
  • Stay current with design trends, building materials, and technology.

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years’ experience in architectural design; 2+ years in general contracting.
  • Post-secondary education in Architecture (preferred).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, Lumion (or similar).
  • Knowledge of building codes and construction methods.
  • Strong design eye, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to shifting priorities.
