Job summary

Flynn Group Of Companies is seeking an Apprentice Sheet Metal Installer in Ontario, Canada. The role involves installing architectural cladding, steel roofing and wall finishes, as well as composite aluminum panels and custom metals.

You will measure, fit, rivet, weld, solder, and install exterior metal products per specs and codes. Ideal candidates have construction experience, 1+ year in architectural sheet metal/roofing, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work at heights while

Qualifications

• Experience working in a construction environment.
• 1+ year experience with Architectural Sheet Metal/Roofing (commercial) is considered an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work and communicate with others.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Ability to learn and obey our extensive company safety policy.

Responsibilities

• Installation of Architectural Cladding applications, including Steel Roofing and Wall finishes, Composite Aluminum Wall finishes, Composite Aluminum Wall panels and Custom Zinc or Copper applications.
• Fit and join sheet metal parts using riveting, welding, soldering and similar equipment.
• Install exterior metal products according to specifications and building codes.
• Measure and mark guidelines to be used for installations.
• Install, repair and service exterior prefabricated products.
