We are seeking an Integration/Solution Architect to join our growing SaaS Business Applications team. A successful candidate will design and implement robust and scalable integrations connecting StackAdapt’s SaaS business systems, oversee applications development and support, and ensure data integrity and security. This role will also lead a growing team by providing technical coaching and guidance and collaborate closely with cross-functional business stakeholders and departments.

You will leverage your deep expertise in SaaS systems architecture and integration to standardize across a unified integration platform and ensure seamless connectivity between various applications, systems, and platforms. You’ll also stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in order to continuously improve the organization's business systems architecture and align with StackAdapt’s business objectives.

StackAdapt is a Remote First company. We are open to candidates located anywhere in the United States or Canada for this position.

What you'll be doing:

  • Understand business processes and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions that drive value.
  • Design and architect end-to-end integrated SaaS solutions that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Capture architectural decisions based on clear cost/benefit analyses for inclusion into a roadmap for integration initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall business and IT strategies.
  • Define technical evaluation criteria in the selection of new SaaS and integration technologies that result in a coherent systems design.
  • Mentor and guide a team of developers, administrators, and other support resources, fostering a culture of learning and growth.
  • Lead technical design sessions and create and maintain comprehensive documentation for integration solutions, including design specifications, architecture diagrams, and operational guidelines.
  • Provide best practice guidance and optimization opportunities for integration design, development, and testing.
  • Collaborate with fellow Corp IT & Operations teams, including application developers, Enterprise Data Office, PMO, and IT Service Desk to ensure alignment and successful implementation of projects and enhancements.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and partners to integrate third-party solutions seamlessly.
  • Establish and enforce integration development standards, ensuring the reliability and performance of integrated solutions.
What you'll bring to the table:
  • Proven experience (8+ years) in designing and implementing complex integration solutions.
  • In-depth knowledge of integration patterns, protocols, and technologies (e.g., REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, ETL processes).
  • Experience with cloud-based integration platforms and microservices architecture.
  • Experience designing and implementing integrations with core SaaS platforms like Salesforce, NetSuite, UKG, etc.
  • Experience in middleware solutions (e.g., Workato, MuleSoft).
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation including solution designs, architectural diagrams, and configuration details.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to thrive and be nimble in a dynamic and fast-paced, fully-remote high-growth environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to lead and work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • You can “see the big picture” to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous situations.
  • Confident facilitation skills that foster collaboration, unify stakeholders, and advocate for positive change.
  • Previous experience in the high-tech industry.
StackAdapt's Enjoy:
  • Highly competitive salary.
