Job summary

Transportation Investment Corporation (TI Corp) is a public crown corporation overseeing major infrastructure projects in British Columbia. This role supports project management for archaeological and heritage components across all phases of the project lifecycle.

The position requires post-secondary education in archaeology/anthropology or Indigenous studies plus substantial project management experience. A valid license and strong coordination with First Nations are highly valued.

Qualifications

  • Post secondary education in archaeology, anthropology, or Indigenous studies, and considerable related experience in project management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledge of BC Heritage Conservation Act and First Nations permits/policies is desirable.
  • Ability to engage with First Nations on archaeology matters.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees tracking of project activities, monitors progress and reports on scope, schedule, risks and changes.
  • Manages communications and materials between stakeholders including the Province and Project archaeologist.
  • Supports environmental and archaeological contract management with work plans and schedules.
