Brentwood Bay Resort on Vancouver Island is seeking a Breakfast Server who will deliver warm, personalized service at breakfast, coordinate restaurant and room service, and collaborate with the kitchen to create memorable dining experiences.

You’ll welcome guests with professionalism, take orders with precision, and ensure timely service in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. A team-oriented mindset and flexibility for mornings, weekends, and holidays are essential.

Qualifications

• Serving It Right Certification.
• Previous serving or hospitality experience (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while staying calm and organized.
• Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering exceptional guest service.
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Breakfast is one of the most memorable moments of a guest's stay. As a Breakfast Server, you play an important role in creating warm, personalized experiences that leave guests feeling genuinely cared for and looking forward to their next visit.

You’ll create meaningful connections with guests while providing attentive table service, coordinating restaurant and room service, and working closely with the kitchen and your teammates to deliver a seamless dining experience. Your warmth, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate guest needs help turn an ordinary breakfast into a memorable farewell.

A day in the life

No two mornings are exactly the same. You’ll begin by preparing your section, ensuring everything is stocked and ready before welcoming the first guests of the day. Throughout your shift you’ll:
