Job summary

City of Delta is seeking a dedicated Assistant Aquatic Leader to help manage both indoor and outdoor pool operations in Delta, BC. You will supervise Lifeguard/Instructor staff and participate in instructional programs, lifeguarding, cashiering, and routine maintenance under supervision.

Ideal candidates bring lifesaving theory knowledge, teaching skills, and pool-chemistry understanding, supported by relevant certifications. A strong commitment to safety and community service is essential.

Qualifications

• Ability to prepare and maintain records related to the work.
• Ability to supervise aquatic staff and participate in training.
• Knowledge of lifesaving theory, first aid, and CPR.
• Experience teaching water safety and aquatic skills.
• Knowledge of pool chemistry and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing indoor and outdoor pool operations.
