West Vancouver Memorial Library is hiring 3 Permanent Part-Time Aquatic Leader I positions in the Community Services Department. This role provides leadership to aquatic staff, assists with pool operations and waterfront lifeguard services, and handles customer inquiries.
The successful candidate will have a high school diploma, at least 1 year of lifeguard and swimming instructor experience, knowledge of pool operations and supervisory experience.

The Community Services Department has openings for 3 Permanent Part-Time Aquatic Leader I positions. Reporting to the Aquatic Program Coordinators, this position provides leadership to aquatic staff and assists with facility operations and/or waterfront lifeguard services.
The successful candidate will: have completed a high school diploma, have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a lifeguard & swimming instructor, knowledge of pool operations and supervisory experience. Microsoft Office Suite, RecStaff, and Activenet registration system knowledge would be considered an asset.
National Lifeguard – Waterfront and Lifesaving Instructor (LSI) would be considered an asset.
The successful candidate will be required to supply a police information check with vulnerable sector and a copy of their credentials. Shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
