Job summary

BayCare Health System in Florida seeks an Acute Care APP to join the 12-bed Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit. The APP will deliver comprehensive care to critically ill infants, children and adolescents with congenital or acquired cardiac conditions in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of intensivists, cardiologists, surgeons, nurses, and allied health professionals.

This full-time night-shift role (4:30 PM to 7:30 AM) requires licensure as an Advanced Practice RN or PA, hospital

Qualifications

• APP must obtain and maintain Medical Staff privileges as required by the position.
• Acute Care Advanced Practice Practitioner Program Certification is preferred for this position.
• Preferred: 3 years of critical care experience with strong clinical judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care to critically ill infants, children and adolescents with congenital or acquired cardiac conditions in PCICU.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including intensivists, cardiologists, surgeons, nurses and allied health professionals to deliver care.

Summary

Education

• Required
• Masters - Nursing; Or - Bachelors - Physician Assistant

Credentials

• Adv Practice RN License or PA License
• BLS/ACLS/PALS

Experience

• Preferred Experience: 3 years of critical care experience, strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, family-centered care in a fast-paced critical care.
