Skilled Trades Ontario is seeking an Apprenticeship Training Specialist to support Ontario’s skilled trades ecosystem. This regular full-time role administers apprenticeship programs, registers training agreements, and assesses applications for program completion.
You will issue certificates of apprenticeship, evaluate experience for non-completed candidates, renew certificates in compulsory trades, and administer exams.

Assessing experience and qualifications of individuals who have not completed
Administering exams, including certifying exams, in all trades subject to
certifying exams.
Issuing Certificates of Qualification in all trades with certifying exams.
Renewing Certificates of Qualification in compulsory trades.
Maintaining a Public Register of people authorized to work in compulsory
Researching apprenticeships and the trades.
