Job summary

MacEwen Petroleum Inc. is seeking an Apprentice Truck and Coach Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance Team in Ontario. You will work under licensed technicians, progress through the 310T apprenticeship, and gain hands‑on experience inspecting, maintaining and repairing tractors, trailers and support vehicles.

The role includes evening and weekend shifts with potential off‑site work. Training will be provided, and you will advance through competency sign‑offs while contributing to fleet safety

Qualifications

• Registered as a 310T Truck and Coach Technician Apprentice with Skilled Trades Ontario, or eligible to enter a Registered Training Agreement.
• Strong commitment to workplace, vehicle and public safety.
• Willingness to learn and apply feedback.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and safe‑work practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist with inspections, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil and filter changes, lubrication, and fluid checks.
• Assist with diagnosis and repair of diesel engines, fuel systems and emission controls.
• Maintain work orders and records accurately.
