Bruce Chrysler is seeking a highly motivated Apprentice Technician to join our Service / Fixed Operations team.In this role, you'll be at the heart of our mission, which is to provide outstanding vehicle repairs and services while maintaining efficiency and affordability. We're seeking an adaptable, organized individual with superb time management skills to become a valued member of our team.

Responsibilities :

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems in a variety of vehicles
• Conduct several types of services and repairs on customer vehicles according to established procedures and manufacturers requirements
• Effectively use hand tools, power tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment
• Clock on and off on the work order for each individual service and repair case.
• Document all information resulting from tests and repairs conducted on vehicles including required parts and labour
• Constantly communicate with service consultants and / or customers for repair progress, additional work, wait times, missing parts, etc.
• Comply with H&S responsibilities including safe work procedures and reporting all work-related injuries
• Comebacks will be the responsibility of the technician
• Work collaboratively with other technicians and advisors to ensure timely and efficient repairs.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times
• This full-time permanent position offers a competitive pay, and you'll primarily work during regular business hours with occasional Saturday rotations

Successful Candidates Possess :

• 1st, 2nd, 3rd year or Service Station Technician
• Clean Driving Record
• Valid Drivers License
• Stay up-to-date with models, techniques and abilities for automotive repairs
• Ability to handle lifting up to 70 lbs as part of your responsibilities.
• The role involves both indoor and outdoor tasks in an environment that can be noisy and dusty at times.
