Job summary

Steele Auto Group is hiring Apprentice Technicians at multiple levels in Moncton, NB. Levels 1–4 offer escalating hourly wages and a pathway toward Red Seal certification, supported by level bonuses and a Salary Top-Up Plan during each apprenticeship block.

Qualifications

• Passionate about the automotive industry.
• Well organized, possess a good work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Hard working, self-motivated and have excellent time management skills.
• Have a valid driver’s license and be able to provide an acceptable driver’s abstract.
• Have a valid Motor Vehicle Inspection License.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems as required.
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s performance specifications.
• Advise customers on work performed, general vehicle condition and future repair requirements.
• Diagnose faults and confirm findings with supervisor.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• Facial hair will interfere with the ability to achieve a proper seal on CSA-approved respirators; therefore, staff must be clean-shaven; inform us if accommodation is requested.

Apprentice Technician Hourly Wage Range

Level 1 Apprentice $18.50

Level 2 Apprentice $21.50

Level 3 Apprentice $24.50

Level 4 Apprentice $27.50

We offer Level Bonuses and a Salary Top-Up Plan for all Apprentices!

Level Bonuses:

• Level 1 to 4: Bonuses paid upon successful completion of each level

• Red Seal: Red Seal Certification Bonus

Salary Top-Up Plan:

• Receive support to ease your financial burdens during each apprenticeship block
• Salary Top-Up Plan, provides a percentage of previous hourly rate while off work attending your block
