Job summary

Weins Auto Group in Whitby, Ontario, is seeking a Level 1 Apprentice Technician at Whitby Subaru. This entry-level role focuses on learning through hands-on maintenance, collaborating with a skilled team, and delivering reliable service to customers.

You will perform general maintenance and minor repairs under supervision, pursue education opportunities, and grow within a supportive, employee-centered workplace that values development and work-life balance.

Qualifications

  • A valid Ontario Driver's License is required.
  • Registered Apprentice Motor Vehicle Mechanic status is required.
  • Secondary/High School diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Perform services based on general maintenance and minor repairs.
  • Perform the tasks described in the repair orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Contact the shop foreman and/or service advisors if additional work is required.
  • Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and report defective or poorly functioning equipment to the supervisor.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
  • Ensure that the shop is clean and tidy.
  • Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions.
