Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• Mechanically minded with service/maintenance experience.
• May currently be an Apprentice in a mechanical field.
• Familiarity with John Deere products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and service agricultural equipment with a commitment to customer support and pride in workmanship.
• Use specialized tools, cutting edge technology, and innovative solutions to diagnose and complete complex repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules/standards on equipment and related components.
• Gain knowledge of John Deere agriculture products.
• Use diagnostic tools and computer functions.
• Attend & participate in Apprenticeship training, John Deere University training and dealer-led training to further develop skills and technical capabilities.

Requirements

• Have a positive attitude & demonstrate a willingness to learn and succeed
• Be mechanically minded, and have experience performing service repairs/maintenance
• May currently be an Apprentice in a mechanical field or have the drive to become an apprentice
• Having knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products would be considered an asset
• High School Diploma/equivalent
