Job summary

Pattison Agriculture in Kyle, SK is seeking an Apprentice Service Technician to join our fast-paced dealership and grow with us.

You will participate in on-the-job training to diagnose, repair, maintain, and support agricultural equipment across multiple product lines, while building a rewarding career with our team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Candidate may currently be an Apprentice in a mechanical field or have the drive to become one.
• Willingness to learn and succeed.
• Familiarity with John Deere products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, repair and service agricultural equipment with a commitment to customer support and pride in workmanship.
• Use specialized tools, cutting edge technology, and innovative solutions to diagnose and complete complex repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules/standards on equipment and related components.
• Gain knowledge of John Deere agriculture products.
• Attend & participate in apprenticeship training, John Deere University training and dealer-led training to further develop skills and technical capabilities.

Requirements

• Have a positive attitude & demonstrate a willingness to learn and succeed
• Be mechanicallyminded, and have experience performing service repairs/maintenance
• May currently be an Apprentice in a mechanical field or have the drive to become an apprentice
• Having knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products would be considered an asset
• High School Diploma/equivalent
