Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. is seeking a plumbing apprentice to install, repair and size piping systems across domestic, commercial, and industrial settings. The role involves working on construction sites, industrial facilities, and residential projects, with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

Pre-apprenticeship, Level 1–3 training will be provided, and a valid driver’s licence is required to access diverse job sites. English language work environment and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Secondary school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in plumbing or a related field is an asset.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a valid driver's licence.

Responsibilities

• Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Repair domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors.
• Cut opening in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings.
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment.
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
• Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size.
