Job summary

The 401 Group is seeking an Automotive Apprentice in Pembroke, ON. You will work alongside experienced technicians, learn skills toward a 310S certification, and perform general maintenance and minor repairs to support service operations.

Located at 1397 Pembroke St W, the role offers hourly compensation in the $20–$24 range, a fast-paced environment, and opportunities for training, coaching, and career advancement within a privately owned Canadian company.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Working towards 310S certification.
• Strong communication skills.
• Above average technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform services based on general maintenance and minor repairs.
• Perform tasks described in repair orders efficiently and accurately.
• Contact shop foreman or service advisors if additional work is required.
• Use appropriate tools and test equipment and report equipment issues to supervisor.
• Ensure that the shop is clean and tidy.
• Perform other tasks as required by management.

As an Automotive Apprentice, you’ll be working side-by-side with experienced technicians, learning the skills and gaining the knowledge you need to become a fully licensed pro!

Location: 1397 Pembroke St W, Pembroke ON (Nissan)

Compensation: $20-$24 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:

• Perform services based on general maintenance and minor repairs.
• Perform the tasks described in the repair orders efficiently and accurately.

• Contact the shop foreman and/or service advisors if additional work is required.
• Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and report defective or poorly functioning equipment to the supervisor.
• Ensure that the shop is clean and tidy.
• Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions

What You Bring to the Table:

• High school education or equivalent
• 1+ years of auto service technician experience
• Working towards your 310S certification
• Strong communication skills
• Above average technical skills

• Valid G Driver's License and acceptable driving record
