Job summary

The 401 Group is seeking an Automotive Apprentice in Pembroke, Ontario. You will work alongside experienced technicians, perform basic maintenance and minor repairs, and learn on the job toward your 310S certification.

Gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced shop environment with coaching, training, and opportunities for career advancement. On-site parking and benefits are available, with a competitive hourly rate of $20–$24.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• 1+ years of auto service technician experience.
• Working towards your 310S certification.
• Strong communication skills.
• Above average technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance services and minor repairs as directed.
• Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently.
• Consult foreman or service advisors for additional work when needed.
• Use appropriate tools and test equipment and report issues.

As an Automotive Apprentice, you’ll be working side-by-side with experienced technicians, learning the skills and gaining the knowledge you need to become a fully licensed pro!

Location: 1397 Pembroke St W, Pembroke ON (Nissan)

Compensation: $20-$24 per hour

What You Will Be Doing:

• Perform services based on general maintenance and minor repairs.
• Perform the tasks described in the repair orders efficiently and accurately.

• Contact the shop foreman and/or service advisors if additional work is required.
• Use appropriate tools, test equipment, and report defective or poorly functioning equipment to the supervisor.
• Ensure that the shop is clean and tidy.
• Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions

What You Bring to the Table:

• High school education or equivalent
• 1+ years of auto service technician experience
• Working towards your 310S certification
• Strong communication skills
• Above average technical skills

• Valid G Driver's License and acceptable driving record
