Job summary

DRIVEN Newmarket, ON is seeking an Automotive Apprentice for a full-time role in a modern service department. The dealership focuses on investing in your career, mentoring under licensed technicians, and exposing you to a wide range of makes and models.

Ideal candidates are in early to mid-apprenticeship years with a strong work ethic, team mindset, and desire for long-term growth in the automotive industry.

Qualifications

• Registered Automotive Service Technician Apprentice (any level considered).
• 3rd-year apprentice preferred, but not required.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Positive attitude and team mentality.
• Reliable, motivated, and eager to build a long-term career in the automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed technicians with diagnostics and repairs.
• Perform maintenance services, inspections, and repairs based on your experience.
• Learn proper diagnostic procedures and repair techniques.
• Keep accurate repair notes and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Continue developing your technical skills while progressing through your apprenticeship.

Whether you’re in your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year, if you have the right attitude, a strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for the automotive industry, we’d love to meet you. While we prefer a 3rd-year apprentice, we’re open to the right person at any stage of their apprenticeship.
