West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. in Ontario is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Heavy Duty Equipment Apprentices, supporting underground and surface operations.

You will work a 7/7 schedule and gain hands-on experience servicing haul trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, graders and auxiliary mining equipment under supervision. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, enrollment in or eligibility for an Ontario-recognized apprenticeship, a valid G driver’s license, and

Qualifications

• Enrollment in or eligibility for an Ontario-recognized apprenticeship.
• Interest in the mining industry and mechanical/electrical trades.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding safety-focused environment.
• Willingness to work on a rotational schedule.
• Valid class G driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine inspections, diagnostics, and repairs.
• Assist in preventative maintenance programs.
• Troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and powertrain systems.
• Learn and apply safety procedures and protocols.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Participate in training and development programs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operations.

West Red Lake Gold Mines Ltd. (TSXV: WRLG; OTCQB: WRLGF) is a publicly traded mineral exploration company focused on discovering new gold mines in the Red Lake Gold District of Northwest Ontario, Canada. Be a part of the initial team to grow and operate a regionally significant new underground mine development that is rapidly becoming the future of the iconic Red Lake gold mining district in Ontario, Canada.

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as apprentices in key trades supporting our underground and surface operations. Reporting to the Trades Specific Maintenance Supervisor or designate, the successful candidate will work a 7/7 schedule. The successful candidate must be local or be willing to relocate to the local area.

Position Overview:

The Heavy Duty Equipment Apprentice supports the maintenance, inspection, diagnosis, and repair of mobile mining equipment under the guidance of qualified Journeyperson technicians. Working in a safe and team-oriented environment, the apprentice gains hands-on experience servicing haul trucks, loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, and auxiliary mining equipment while developing the technical skills required to complete apprenticeship training requirements.

Physical requirements:

• Handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, hand-eye co-ordination, standing for extended periods of time. Bending, crouching, and kneeling.
