Job summary

Give & Go Prepared Foods Corp. in Etobicoke, Ontario, is seeking an entry-level Electrician apprentice to assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and food manufacturing equipment.

Under supervision, you will support a timely production start-up and help achieve quality standards. The role requires enrollment in an Industrial Electrician apprenticeship, with at least 1 year of maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or planning to enroll in an Industrial Electrician apprenticeship program.
• At least 1 year of maintenance experience or in an Industrial Electrician program.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills with MS Word/Excel.
• Knowledge of CMMS and LOTO.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scheduled preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Learn and apply electrical codes and regulations.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety policies including Lockout/Tagout and PPE.
