Job summary

Onni Group of Companies is seeking apprentice electricians to join our Vancouver crew. You’ll gain hands-on training in commercial electrical work and build the skills for a long-term career in the trade.

Responsibilities include learning from the Foreman, interpreting blueprints, and collaborating with the team on installations and repairs. You should bring experience on commercial electrical projects (pipe bending required), a great attitude, and the ability to pass a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Experience on commercial electrical projects including pipe bending.

• Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and assist with repairs of equipment and electrical faults.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Update logs, client accounts, and perform admin duties.
• Order replacement parts and equipment as needed.
• Complete electrical installations and maintenance tasks.
• Communicate with clients professionally.
• Collaborate with other crew members.
• Perform other duties as required.

What You Will Do:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Learning from the Foreman and completing all assigned duties
• Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs of equipment and electrical faults
• Interpreting blueprints and schematics
• Updating work logs, client accounts, and handling other administrative duties
• Ordering replacement parts and equipment as needed.
• Completing electrical installations and carrying out various maintenance duties
• Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner always
• Collaborating with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members
• Performs other duties as required.

What You bring:

Salary Range:

$21.50 to $43.00 per hour based on experience
