Kovac Electrical Group Ltd. is seeking Apprentice Electricians to join our Vancouver team. You will gain hands-on training in commercial electrical work while building skills for a long-term career in the trade.

Qualifications

• Experience on commercial electrical projects is required.
• Pipe bending skills are required.
• Ability to pass a security clearance is preferred.
• Candidate should provide their own tools and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Learn from the Foreman and complete assigned duties.
• Identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and assist with repairs of equipment and electrical faults.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Update work logs and client accounts; handle administrative duties.
• Order replacement parts and equipment as needed.
• Complete electrical installations and maintenance duties.
• Communicate with clients professionally.
• Collaborate with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members.

What You Will Do:

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Learning from the Foreman and completing all assigned duties


• Identifying, analyzing, troubleshooting, and assisting with repairs of equipment and electrical faults


• Interpreting blueprints and schematics


• Updating work logs, client accounts, and handling other administrative duties


• Ordering replacement parts and equipment as needed.


• Completing electrical installations and carrying out various maintenance duties


• Communicating with clients in a professional, courteous manner always


• Collaborating with construction workers, plumbers, and other crew members


• Performs other duties as required.

What You bring:

• Experience on commercial electrical projects (Pipe bending skills required)

Salary Range:

$21.50 to $43.00 per hour based on experience
