About The Role

As an Apprentice Electrician with Coffey, you will learn to install, commission, test, and maintain various wiring systems and services in Commercial and Industrial applications.

Responsibilities

1. Work with and learn from experienced Craftspersons
2. Comply with Health and Safety requirements
3. Work with electricity or electronics
4. Accept responsibility for the quality of your own work
5. Understand and apply physics
6. Be accurate with numbers in counting, measuring, and arithmetic
7. Complete detailed tasks requiring accuracy and careful handling
8. Work with technical drawings and diagrams
9. Use a variety of specialised hand tools, power tools, and equipment
10. Be well-organised and careful with practical tasks
11. Take responsibility for your own learning, including allocating study time
12. Control or adjust the operation of equipment

Requirements

About You

• Must be over the age of 16
• Have a full or provisional Irish Licence
• Good communication skills
• Problem-solving ability
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude
• Good work practices including timekeeping, tidiness, responsibility, quality, and safety awareness
