Job summary

Reinhardt Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning Ltd. is seeking a skilled plumber to install and service plumbing fixtures and systems across commercial, industrial, and residential projects.

You will read blueprints, size piping, and ensure accurate installations while mentoring apprentices on-site. The role requires 3–5 years of experience, a valid driver’s license, and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork in Alberta’s construction environment.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years plumbing experience.
• Journeyman plumber with Red Seal preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and plan layouts.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install domestic, commercial or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing system, water supply network and waste and drainage systems.
• Instruct apprentices
• Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes and fixtures in walls and floors
• Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipe and pipe fittings
• Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement or soldering, brazing and welding equipment
• Schedule personnel, tools and equipment
• Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
• Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
• Supervise other workers
• Measure, cut, thread and bend pipes to required shape and size

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
