Job summary

PTW Energy Services in Grande Prairie, AB is hiring Local Electrical 2nd/3rd/4th year Apprentices to join our team. If you are available, we want to hear from you!

This local position offers various shift schedules, opportunities for 8–12 hour days, and apprenticeship support programs. You must be an indentured apprentice or Journeyperson with construction and maintenance electrical experience, and you must be able to work safely and with good communication.

Qualifications

• Must possess construction and maintenance electrical experience.
• Must be an indentured electrical Apprentice or a certified Journeyperson.
• Must be able to take initiative, work independently as well as in a team.
• Must be reliable and dependable (i.e.: punctual and ready to work).
• Excellent communication skills.
• A demonstrated ability to work safely.
• Must have valid safety tickets (CSO, Standard First Aid, ESC Fall Protection and H2S Alive)
• A valid Class 5 driver's license is required.
• Must be authorized to work in Canada.
• Must be local to the area or within commuting distance, or willing to relocate

Job Details

• Shift:Various shift schedules available
• Working Hours:Opportunity to work 8 to 12 hours per day based on workload requirements
• Overtime:Overtime opportunities may be available on an occasional basis
• Travel Pay:Travel expenses are not covered for this local position. Candidates must be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to the area
• Apprentices: Support is provided for apprenticeship programs and completion of required hours
