Job summary

Meridian Development Corp. is seeking an Apprentice Carpenter for a Delta, BC project. You will work with experienced carpenters and site supervisors to support wood-frame construction for a multi-unit hotel project, gaining hands-on experience while handling carpentry tasks.

Ideal candidates are safety‑minded, dependable, and eager to learn, with basic carpenter tools and the ability to read drawings. OT availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled or interested in pursuing a Carpentry Apprenticeship.
• Experience in carpentry or construction is an asset.
• Ability to read construction drawings is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with wood-frame construction including walls, floors and roofs.
• Assist layout, framing and installation of walls, ceilings and bulkheads.
• Support with wood framing quality and project requirements.
• Assist with installation of doors, windows, hardware and millwork.
• Handle materials, keep site organized and safe.
• Operate hand and power tools and follow safety regulations.
