Skyservice is seeking an Apprentice Avionics Technician in Dorval, QC. You will develop skills troubleshooting electrical systems, installing and repairing avionics on business jets under supervision.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an E-licensed avionics program, with a background in business aircraft and a strong focus on detail, teamwork and safety. Relocation and comprehensive benefits are offered.

• Working towards becoming a E-licensed Avionics Technician.
• Previous apprentice related experience is an asset.
• Background in working on Business Aircraft types is an asset.
• Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate strong organizational skills.
• Must be attentive to detail.

• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop your skills troubleshooting electrical systems/components, installing, modifying and repairing aircraft avionics as contracted, with support from experienced Avionics Technicians.
• Support licensed technicians during maintenance on aircraft.
• Accomplish maintenance under technicians supervision.
• Interact and work cooperatively with other trade personnel and customer representatives to meet project directives.
• Attend training courses as directed and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
