Air Inuit Ltd. is seeking an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to develop skills under seasoned engineers, performing repairs and line maintenance on our fleet. You will assist in inspections, document maintenance activities, and maintain safety standards on site and at remote bases.

The role emphasizes learning, teamwork, and adaptability to challenging northern conditions, with potential exposure to complex aviation systems and a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineer college diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Air Inuit Maintenance and policies is an asset.
• Willingness to work in remote locations and adapt to varying weather conditions.
• Eager to learn, team player, and a passion for aviation.

Responsibilities

• Carry out aircraft and base tasks, as they are assigned by an authorized signatory.
• Assist in routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance of aircraft systems and components.
• Help maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Work alongside seasoned engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in aviation technology and practices.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks in line with the Maintenance Department operational needs.
