Job summary
Air Inuit Ltd. is seeking an Apprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineer to develop skills in the aviation industry. You will support our maintenance team, performing repairs and line maintenance under supervision to keep our fleet safe and reliable.
The role requires a willingness to work in remote locations, with accommodations and travel provided between Montreal and northern bases. Training under senior engineers will help you grow in a fast-paced, safety-driven environment.
Qualifications
- Aircraft Maintenance Engineer college diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical aircraft systems.
- Willingness to learn in a remote northern base environment.
Responsibilities
- Carry out aircraft and base tasks as assigned by an authorized signatory.
- Assist in routine inspections, repairs, and maintenance of aircraft systems.
- Help maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and compliance.
- Work with seasoned engineers to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
- Stay updated with aviation technology and practices.
