Job summary

Skyservice is seeking an apprentice aircraft maintenance technician in Canada to develop hands‑on skills under the guidance of experienced AMEs and to uphold safety and regulatory standards. You will work toward an M2 license and contribute to essential maintenance tasks.

You will ensure accurate documentation, certify installed components, and participate in ongoing training. Relocation and comprehensive benefits are available to support your career growth.

Qualifications

  • Working towards an M2 licensed technician status.
  • Experience as an apprentice is an asset.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong organization and detail.
  • Positive, team‑oriented attitude and good communication.

Responsibilities

  • Develop skills by performing maintenance activities with support from experienced AMEs.
  • Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Verify components installed on aircraft are properly certified.
  • Follow maintenance control manual and Transport Canada standards.
  • Attend training courses as directed by management.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Assist with related duties as assigned.

SUMMAR Y OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Developing your skills as an apprentice by performing and ensuring proper completion of all maintenance activities related to Sky Service FBO Aircrafts, with the support of experienced AMEs;
  • Ensure aircraft documentation is complete and accurate;
  • Ensure that all components installed on aircrafts are properly certified;
  • Carry out duties as per the appropriate maintenance control manual and ensure familiarity and conformity to Transport Canada regulatory standards;
  • Attend training courses as directed by company management;
  • Adhere to the Safety Management System Policy;
  • Maintain and ensure a clean and safe work environment at all times;
  • Assist in all other related duties, as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Working towards becoming an “M2” licensed Technician;
  • Previous apprentice related experience is an asset;
  • Ability to work under pressure and to demonstrate strong organizational skills;
  • Must be attentive to detail;
  • Positive attitude;
  • Team oriented;
  • Good communication skills.
EDUCATION :
  • In the process of finalizing a recognized aircraft maintenance program, or equivalent, is minimum requirement.
