Job summary

Farm Credit Canada is seeking an Agricultural Valuator to support a national valuations team. The role involves appraising agricultural assets, conducting market research, and contributing to the annual FCC Farmland Values Report. Ideal candidates will possess strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and a passion for agriculture, along with a diploma or degree in business or agriculture and relevant experience.

Salary Range (plus eligible to receive a performance based incentive, applicable to position) :

$69,904 - $94,576 Experience valuing agricultural assets rewarded
Support a national valuations team with market research and valuation of agricultural assets. You’ll work closely with internal partners in the Operations division to mitigate credit risk.

What you’ll do:

  • Research the local marketplace
  • Appraise agricultural assets for collateral
  • Review internal appraisals
  • May travel to FCC offices in your region
  • Occasionally perform site inspections
  • Coach and help train Operations colleagues
  • Contribute market analysis and appraisal expertise to the annual FCC Farmland Values Report
