Job summary

Downtown AutoGroup is seeking an enthusiastic BDC Appointment Coordinator to be the voice of our Downtown Toronto Autoplex. You’ll turn inquiries into booked appointments and drive sales and service through proactive outreach.

In this in-person role, you’ll respond to leads via phone, email, chat, and text, schedule visits for sales and service, and collaborate with the service teams to excite guests about our brands and promotions. Must be able to work days, evenings, and Saturdays.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) with a confident, persuasive demeanor.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and the ability to handle high call volumes.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and other basic computer applications.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Must be flexible to work days, evenings, and Saturdays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone, email, chat, and text with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Make outbound calls to follow up on leads, service reminders, and special promotions.
  • Schedule appointments for sales and service departments, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Assist the sales team by pre-qualifying leads and gathering necessary customer information.
  • Promote dealership promotions, services, and products to generate interest and increase traffic.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the dealership’s inventory, services, and offers to effectively communicate with customers.
  • Contact customers for service appointment reminders, recalls, and follow-ups to ensure satisfaction.
  • Help customers understand the benefits of regular maintenance and schedule appropriate services.
  • Collaborate closely with our service teams, setting them up for success with well-prepared, excited guests.
  • Accurately input and update customer information in the CRM system.
  • Track and report lead activity, conversion rates, and appointment outcomes to the BDC Manager.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to team success.
  • Deliver exceptional service that fosters trust and long-term customer relationships.
  • Address customer questions and concerns promptly, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Continuously learn about our brands and promotions to provide accurate, enticing information.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

As our BDC Appointment Coordinator, you’ll be the voice of Downtown AutoGroup, creating memorable first impressions, turning inquiries into opportunities, and playing a pivotal role in driving sales and service success. You’ll blend your communication prowess with your passion for automotive excellence, ensuring every interaction leaves our guests eager to visit us in person.

Customer Engagement & Lead Management
  • Respond promptly to inbound leads via phone, email, chat, and text with professionalism and enthusiasm.
