Job summary

Ring by Amazon is seeking a passionate scientist in computer vision to innovate for millions of customers. You will develop highly optimized ML algorithms for scale and collaborate across teams to build integrated hardware and software platforms for Ring devices.

You will work on multi-modal LLMs and Vision Language Models, participate in designing data-driven models, and influence product and system design with informed decisions on data sources, algorithms, and sensors.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master's degree in CS/CE/ML or related field.
• Experience building ML models or developing algorithms for business applications.
• Proficiency in Java, C++, or Python.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, evaluation, deployment and updating of data-driven models for computer vision applications.
• Research and implement the state-of-the-art computer vision and Vision Language models algorithms.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to design and implement computer vision and machine learning based features for Ring devices
• Influence system design and product vision by making informed decisions on the selection of technology, data sources, algorithms, and sensors.
