Job summary

Qualcomm Canada ULC is seeking a talented Machine Learning Engineer to join the AI Processor Solutions team, helping develop next-generation AI applications for Snapdragon platforms.

In this role, you will work on cutting-edge machine learning algorithms and technologies spanning computer vision, multimodal AI, and agentic AI systems, and contribute to research and development of AI applications optimized for accuracy, efficiency, and real-world performance on Snapdragon-powered devices.

Qualifications

• Strong background in machine learning, computer vision, multimodal AI, or related fields.
• Proficiency with PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Passion for building efficient AI solutions on edge devices.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with the latest advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and foundation models.
• Research, develop, and optimize AI algorithms for deployment on Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms.
• Design and build innovative reference applications showcasing Snapdragon AI capabilities across mobile, edge, XR, and IoT devices.
• Evaluate and balance hardware and software trade-offs to achieve optimal performance, power efficiency, and user experience.
• Support the implementation, optimization, and commercialization of AI algorithms and applications on Snapdragon devices.
